This special day honors heroes, both real and fictional, who come to our aid. Some heroes are in the right place at the right time, while others choose heroic careers (though they wouldn’t call themselves heroes). Fictional superheroes like Batman, Superman, Captain America, Wonder Woman, Iron Man, Hulk, and Spiderman inspire us with hope and serve as role models for our children. They fight evil and protect us, reminding us of the importance of bravery and justice.
